Vereal – Image Spot

Ctcom’s client Vereal was in need of an image spot as they were expanding their businnes to reach direct customers, as of before they mostly worked for collectivities and cities. As they are active in the gardening business and the time of the year was not convenient for an outdoor shooting, we choose to produce a fully animated spot for them.

The main idea behind the story-line was to show the memories people could have in the future inside their new gardens designed by the company. As to promote this idea we settled that the pack-shot should be a collection of pictures (the memories) regrouping the different times of life people are experiencing in their garden. Therefore the idea to have a kind of stop-motion clip seemed appropriate as we worked with cutout characters and elements to still have that photography-border look going through the entire ad.

Our Role:

Together with the agency we rolled out the concept of the different sections needed for the ad. We organised and did the greenscreen shooting of the actors in studio (using stop-motion software). Collected a bunch of garden and plant imagery and animated the whole thing in after effects over a 2 week period. Over 400 layers were needed in the end to animate all the different elements.

DKB Spot 20″ Silvio

One of two 20 seconds spots remedia produced for DKB.

The main actor of the Spot is Silvio Heinevetter who is the goalkeeper for the German National Handball Team and the Füchse Berlin.
The concept was developed by +Binz Communications and the production was done together with m-quadrat.

The spot was shot on an Arri Alexa, edited in Apple Final Cut Pro and grading was done in Apple Color. All effects and inserts were done in Adobe AfterEffects

It was projected on four screens (the main screen was 10*3m) and was synchronized with the arrival of the car on stage (the car appeared under the screen).

Fake Trailer for an upcoming movie by Fred Neuen co-produced by remedia.lu and thisisradar.com

The shortfilm was shot in two days in Luxembourg, with the massive help of talented and dedicated friends. Post-production took about a year, the project being done in our spare time without any funding.
